Kulgam 31 Oct(KNS): The Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) kulgam M Y Tarigami chaired an introductory cum review meeting with district and sectoral officers of the district at Conference Hall mini-secretariat kulgam.

DDC Chairperson Mohammad Afzal Parray and District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam Athar Amir khan was also present at the meeting

On the occasion, MLA took appraisal of various developmental issues pertaining to Rural development, water supply issues, health sector, industries, initiatives and upgradations, school education, accelerating irrigation canals network,  horticulture, agriculture works and schemes and other issues of public importance.

The MLA discussed and deliberated on various public welfare measures and sought details of ongoing activities and requirements, department wise.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe gave particular focus and prioritised key administrative and development initiatives for the constituency.

He emphasised officers to project developmental demands with meticulous planning based on requirements and feedback of the local public. He said the efficient public service delivery must be the priority and advised for realisation of the agricultural, industrial and tourism potential of the district to the fullest.

Meainwhile DDC apprised about the district profile, vital projects under execution and various initiatives of good governance being taken in the district.
