Srinagar, Oct 28 (KNS): Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) Chief and Baramulla MP, Engineer Rashid, has departed for Tihar Jail in Delhi with his interim bail ending today.
Rashid, arrested in 2019 by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act for a 2017 terror funding case, left from Srinagar Airport, accompanied by AIP's chief spokesperson, Inam-un-Nabi.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Previously, Rashid was granted interim bail on September 7, extended until October 13 and later to October 28. The court will also decide on his regular bail application today. (KNS)
