Encourages Youth to Learn from Legends

Srinagar, September 12 (KNS): Former Indian cricketer Muhammad Kaif, who is in Srinagar for the Legends League Cricket, expressed his excitement to play in the city and hoped for sold-out matches.

Kaif, who was part of the Indian team that won the 2002 NatWest Series, praised the passionate cricket fans in Kashmir and encouraged the youth to learn from the legends of the game.

Kaif recalled his previous experience playing in Jammu, where the matches were sold out, and hoped for a similar response in Srinagar. "I have full hope that the matches will be sold out here as well," he said while speaking to KNS correspondent exclusively.

Kaif believes that the league can be beneficial for the youth in Kashmir who are passionate about cricket.
"They will get a chance to see the matches live, interact with the players, and get inspired," he said.

In a message to the people of Kashmir, Kaif described the Kashmir as "heaven on earth" and praised the warm hospitality of the locals.

"Kashmir is like heaven on earth. It is a world-famous place. People dream to visit Kashmir once in their lifetime," he said.

Kaif encouraged the people to come to the ground and support the players during the matches. "I hope that the passionate people will come here and enjoy the game," he said. (KNS).
