Nasir, NC leaders visit families of Nowgam tragedy victims; Express solidarity, prays for recovery of injured

Srinagar, 17 Nov (KNS) : A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, led by the Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani today visited the families affected by the tragic Nowgam incident, conveying profound solidarity and heartfelt condolences on behalf of the party leadership.

According to a press release issued, The delegation included the party’s Provincial President (Kashmir) and the MLA Channapora Mushtaq Guroo.

The leaders visited the Natipora residence of the slain tailor who lost his life in the devastating incident. They then travelled to the Housing Colony, Bemina, to offer condolences at the home of the martyred police officer.

Later, the delegation visited the Soibugh residence of the Naib Tehsildar who also tragically lost his life. At all three locations, the leaders offered fatiha and conveyed the deepest sympathies of the National Conference rank and file, particularly the Party President and the Vice President & Hon’ble Chief Minister. In the afternoon, the delegation proceeded to Ujala Hospital to meet the 20 injured victims, including five admitted to the ICU. They prayed for the swift and complete recovery of all those wounded and interacted with the attending families and medical teams to assess the ongoing treatment and any additional assistance required.

The leaders affirmed that the party stands firmly with all affected families and continues to pray for peace, healing, and strength for everyone impacted by this tragic event.

Separately, an NC delegation led by the Advisor to the Chief Minister along with the Provincial President (Kashmir) Showkat Mir and the District President Peer Afaq visited the residences of the two police personnel in Qamarwari and HMT who lost their lives in the Nowgam blast. The delegation offered fatiha for the departed souls and prayed for strength and solace for the bereaved families.(KNS)
