Srinagar, Oct 23 (KNS): During the opening session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Thursday, Poonch MLA Ajaz Ahmed Jan brought attention to the ongoing situation in Palestine and requested the House to discuss civilian casualties.
While participating in the customary obituary references, Jan highlighted recent incidents in Gaza, focusing on the loss of civilian lives, including children. He asked the Speaker to allow discussion on the matter as part of the day’s Assembly business, noting the increasing humanitarian concerns.
