Omar Abdullah Denies Claims of New Liquor Vends in J&K


Srinagar, Mar 12 (KNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has dismissed reports suggesting that his government is advertising or allotting new liquor vends.

Taking social media handle X, he called the claims baseless and urged TV channels and news portals to stop spreading misinformation. His statement comes amid ongoing debates over liquor policies in the Union Territory. Some reports had alleged that new liquor shops were being opened under the administration, sparking public discussions.
