HM says building Shivaji Maharaj’s vision of a strong and self-reliant India is a shared responsibility of 140 crore citizens
Gujarat, July 5 (KNS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said ‘Operation Sindoor’ reflects the Modi government’s strong commitment to safeguarding Swaraj, the self-rule envisioned by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Speaking at the foundation stone ceremony of the country’s first national cooperative university — Tribhuvan Cooperative University — in Anand, Shah said the institution represents Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication and determination towards strengthening the cooperative sector.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“It is the responsibility of 140 crore Indians to make India the way Shivaji Maharaj imagined,” Shah said. “We fought for Swaraj when needed, and to protect it, we must be prepared to do so again.”
He added that Shivaji’s vision also included creating a great India. By 2047, he said, India must stand as a leading nation in the world. Shah described this goal as a shared mission, and called Shrimant Bajirao Peshwa one of the greatest historical figures to guide and inspire the path forward.(KNS)
