Alliance Aims to Protect J&K's Identity, Not Target Political Rivals

Srinagar, July 2 (KNS) : President of the Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) and member of the People's Alliance for Change (PAC), Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, on Thursday held a meeting with party workers from Budgam district at his residence. The workers welcomed his decision to join the newly formed political alliance in Jammu and Kashmir, aimed at safeguarding the identity and rights of the people.

In a statement issued to the press, Hakeem Yaseen explained the rationale behind the formation of the new alliance and its relevance in the current political scenario. He said that for the past seven decades, numerous political experiments have been carried out on the people of Kashmir, turning the region into what he described as a "testing ground for failed policies.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"

Hakeem stressed that the need of the hour is to preserve the essence of Kashmir’s unique identity, culture, and democratic rights. "This alliance is not against any particular party or individual. It is a collective platform to fight for the dignity, rights, and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir," he said.

He assured the workers that the alliance would actively raise issues concerning the common people and strive to bring about meaningful change. "We are committed to restoring the confidence of the masses in democratic institutions and ensuring that their voice is heard at every level," he added.(KNS)
