PDP Leader should stop Misleading Public: Former Deputy Mayor Sheikh Imran

Srinagar, July 05 (KNS): Former Deputy Mayor Sheikh on Friday said that PDP Leaders should stop misleading the public.

Speaking to reporters, Sheikh Imran criticized the PDP's Organizational General Secretary, Dr. Mehboob Baig, for making false statements about Haq Khan’s inactivity.

On Er Rashid, Imran said, "We knew that God would give them respect. I have spoken for their release and for their families."

"God has given him respect. Those who are jealous should take it with a pinch of salt that he is the MP of North Kashmir."

Refuting Baig's claims, Imran pointed out, "Engineer Rashid was in jail, not Haq Khan. If it weren't for the media and various newspapers, these people would have killed our youth." He accused Baig of lying to the public and attempting to mislead them with false narratives.

Haq Khan Sahib met some leaders in Delhi, and now he is playing another game to save his house," Imran asserted.

Imran expressed his disapproval of the current political tactics, saying, "We will raise our voice against misguidance. Stop misleading our youth. Mehbooba Baig's statements are deceiving."

Highlighting the need for change, Imran said, "Politics is for young people and revolution. We are moving towards change and revolution."

Imran also emphasized the importance of early assembly elections for the betterment of the state. "Assembly elections should be held soon. It is better for all," he stated, expressing hope for a political shift towards young, revolutionary leaders.(KNS)
