Jammu March 18 (KNS): The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Kashmir(PHDCCI), as a member of the RBI-Empowered Committee on MSME, extends its gratitude to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for organizing a highly impactful Town Hall Meeting for existing and prospective MSME entrepreneurs in Srinagar. The event provided a platform for entrepreneurs to voice their concerns and share innovative suggestions, which were thoughtfully addressed by the Regional Director of RBI.
The Town Hall Meeting witnessed active participation from representatives of major banks, the MSME Development and Facilitation Office (DFO), SIDBI, and other key stakeholders. The discussions centered around critical issues faced by MSMEs, including access to credit, financial inclusion, and operational challenges. The presentations on key initiatives such as TReDS (Trade Receivables Discounting System), CGTMSE (Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises), and CIBIL were highly informative and provided valuable insights to the entrepreneurs.
