Srinagar April 11 (KNS): The Kashmir Team of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) actively participated in an insightful awareness program organized by the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) in collaboration with Women’s World Banking at Orchard Retreat, Srinagar. The event, marking CGTMSE’s 25th anniversary, aimed to address financial challenges faced by MSME’s while promoting the benefits of CGTMSE’s credit guarantee schemes.
Ms. Kirti Pratik Patil, Manager, CGTMSE, and Ms. Nirmala Vedula, Senior Relationship Manager, Women’s World Banking, delivered detailed presentations on the CGTMSE scheme, followed by an engaging discussion with bankers and stakeholders to enhance awareness and capacity-building initiatives.

Mr. Himayu Wani highlighted the critical need to sensitize entrepreneurs and bankers about the CGTMSE scheme to enhance financial accessibility for small businesses. He applauded CGTMSE’s 25 years of impactful service and stressed the importance of expanding awareness campaigns to ensure wider utilization of the scheme by emerging entrepreneurs.
The interactive session fostered meaningful dialogue among stakeholders, addressing key challenges and exploring solutions to strengthen financial support for MSEs in the region.
