Srinagar, Dec16(KNS): Prof. Shaad Ramzan, a renowned poet from Kashmir, has been selected by the Prasar Bharati jury to represent the Kashmiri language at the prestigious National Symposium of Poets-2025, set to be held in Mumbai on December 19.

This symposium, considered one of the largest poetic congregations in the world, will feature poets from 22 Indian languages, each presenting their works at the event.

Prof. Ramzan's poem, ‘Tyuth Kanh Baeth’, which he will present at the event, is a prayer for the bliss of reconnecting with nature and its boundless bounties.

A Sahitya Akademi Awardee, Prof. Shaad Ramzan is a distinguished poet, critic, and academician. He has authored several significant literary works and currently serves as the Convener of the Kashmiri Advisory Committee of the Sahitya Akademi.(KNS).
