Rahul Gandhi's Visit Boosts Congress Morale in J&K: Mir

Srinagar, Aug 22(KNS): Ghulam Ahmed Mir, the former J&K PCC chief, expressed his pleasure at seeing Rahul Gandhi and AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge in J&K.

He acknowledged that Rahul Gandhi’s visit is a morale booster for Congress workers, especially as the party gears up for upcoming elections.

Mir highlighted that Gandhi’s presence would energize the party and provide a fresh impetus as they prepare for electoral challenges.

Notably, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge landed in Srinagar on Wednesday and were welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) on August 16 announced that the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections will be held in three phases with results to be declared on October 4.(KNS).
