New Delhi, 10 Nov 2024(KNS) : Ravinder Pandita has been elected as the new president of the All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS), a prominent organization representing the Kashmiri community on a global scale. In a closely contested election, Pandita emerged victorious over the incumbent president, Dr. Romesh Raina. This election was conducted through both in-person voting and postal ballots, allowing broad participation from AIKS affiliates worldwide.
Following his win, Pandita spoke with Kashmir News Service (KNS), where he expressed his gratitude to the Kashmiri Samaj members for placing their trust in him. "I am honored to have been chosen to lead such a dedicated and resilient community," Pandita told KNS. "My commitment is to work tirelessly to address the needs of our community and to bring together voices from across the globe under the AIKS banner."
