Rafiabad 6 August (KNS) : Senior Vice President J&K Peoples Conference and fommer Minister Abdul Gani Vakil expressed concern on depriving daily wagers working in different departments , Aanganwari workers and helpers from salaries for last more than three months and said their families are facing starvation, although they are serving the people day and night by making the department functional which are totally dependent on daily wagers like PHE ,PDD ,Forest and Agriculture etc. Vakil was addressing workers meeting held at Pakhwara , Hamam, Markoot and Paizalpora Rafiabad .Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelMr Vakil also expressed grave concern over the government’s failure to adequately irrigate Paddy crops and this neglect left countless farmers in a dire situation threatening their both livelihood and food security this situation has exacerbated the struggle of those who rely on These crops for their income and sustenance.
Mr Vakil demanded immediate release of salaries of daily wagers and also urgent measures including the repair and expansion of irrigation system to prevent further loses .(KNS)
