Handwara, Sep 7 (KNS): Arshad Mohiuddin War, a poet, writer, and prominent political and social activist, has announced his candidacy for the upcoming Assembly Election.

Confirming the development to Kashmir News Service, War said he will contest as an independent candidate from the Langate Constituency.
In the Langate Constituency, War will face candidates from the Awami Ittihad Party (AIP) and the People's Conference (PC).Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The prominent writer and teacher is living in the native village of Er Rashid who has recently won Lokh sabah election from Baramulla Parliamentary constituency. It will be interesting to see can the renowned teacher give any contest to his native villager. It is to note here that AIP has announced Er Rashid’s brother candidate for the Langate seat(KNS)
