Kulgam, Nov 4 (KNS) : The residents of Dhobi Mohalla in Bongam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district have appealed to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam to repair a damaged lane that has been causing inconvenience to locals for several months.
Locals said the condition of the lane has deteriorated severely, making it difficult for pedestrians, students, and elderly people to commute, particularly during rains. They urged the district administration to take prompt action to address the issue.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Speaking to the media, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kulgam, Mohd Irfan Wani, assured the residents that the repair work has already been included in the department’s development plan.
"The lane is already in our plan, and we will soon repair it. We appeal to locals to cooperate with us until the work is completed,” Wani said.
Residents expressed hope that the administration would take swift steps to ease their daily hardships.(kNS)
