Sajad Lone Criticises India's Lack of Technological Innovation, Slams Obsession with Mythologizing Temples

Srinagar, Nov 28 (KNS): Sajad Lone, JKPC Chief, criticised India's lack of technological innovation, highlighting the nation's obsession with mythologizing hidden temples.

He lauded Dubai's progress, highlighting India's regression, and affirmed that the ideology of moderation, tolerance, and respect will prevail.

In along post on X, he said, "Yet another shocker. The suit filed in pursuit of a temple supposedly hidden somewhere in the Ajmer Dargah Sharif."

"As we bid good bye to 2024, we are in the age of Artificial Intelligence. The tech age and as Indians let us be honest. We have not contributed to any technological revolution. Yes we have the resources to make use of them by buying them. But scientific innovation. No. None. Not even remotely. Our Indian tech revolution is as users not as inventors."

Our desire for invention seems to be all invested in our obsession to invent hidden temples. And make no mistakes. A statistically  significant section of the population is applauding it. And yes the more the educated the more temple-searchers they tend to be.

Those educated ones who should have been at the forefront of heralding the Indian tech revolution are busy in mythologizing.

I was recently in Dubai and had the chance to see magnificence in the form of architecture of the temples that have been built here.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelWhat an oasis of tolerance and mutual respect Dubai has turned out to be. So good it is. Literally every nationality is here and in how an orderly manner they live.

I was in Dubai in late nineties. What an Evolution. How they have evolved. And they deserve to be proud of their evolution into excellence.

And looking back at my own country. How we have regressed. The electoral victories have come at a cost, which have left this country soulless. This country once defined by its soulfulness is tragical now soulless and in search of a soul.

And Ajmer of all the places symbolises spiritualism. It is the destination of all faiths, where all converge irrespective of religion, caste creed. A unique belief and trust in the spiritual deliverance  of that great seat of spirituality.

In the fight between moderate ideology and extremism, we fought our own battles in Kashmir. Even within the separatist camp there was a clear demarcation between the two. And thousands of lives were lost in the battle between moderates and extremists. Yet the moderates did not surrender.

And moderates inshallah will never surrender. The ideology of moderation, tolerance and mutual respect  will prevail. (KNS)
