Srinagar, April 4 (KNS): Peoples Conference (PC) chairman Sajad Lone has launched a sharp attack on the National Conference (NC), questioning their performance in Parliament while extending unconditional support for any legislation in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly pertaining to Waqf matters.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Lone stated, "We will support unconditionally any bill brought in the J and K assembly pertaining to Waqf. If NC has any such intentions, we will support it."

Lone emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir, as the only Muslim-majority region in India, required stronger representation in national forums. "The parliamentarians from J and K should have roared like a lion, not meowed like a cat," he asserted, indicating his dissatisfaction with the NC’s approach in defending the region’s interests in Parliament.(KNS)
