Uri, Sep 11 (KNS):: Senior JKNC leader and former cabinet Minister Mohammad Shafi Uri accompanied Dr Sajjad Shafi Uri District president Baramulla and Contesting candidate JKNC
for filing the nomination papers before the Sub division magistrate Uri for upcoming elections.

Former cabinet minister Mohammad Shafi Uri criticized the central government, accusing Delhi of undermining Kashmiri dignity and attributing many of the region’s problems to its policies.

He said the current policy of Delhi is not in the interest of the nation and is creating gap between the common kashmiri and Delhi.

He also highlighted the JKNC's role in safeguarding Kashmiri rights and the historical significance of Sheikh Abdullah’s contribution to Article 370.


In his media address, Dr Sajjad reiterated his commitment to countering independent candidates backed by the BJP and RSS.

He outlined his central manifesto focusing on development and dignity, while also committing to address local issues such as upgrading infrastructure in education and health, boosting the local economy, tackling rising unemployment, addressing electricity fee hikes, promoting eco-tourism, and resolving staffing shortages in border towns.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Sajjad assured that his party is closely monitoring all issues affecting Uri and is dedicated to resolving them to the best of their ability.

He appealed to the people of Uri to make informed choices and consider the implications for the Muslim community when selecting allies of the BJP.
