Sikh Minority Employees Meet Chief & Principal Secretaries to Discuss Issues

Srinagar, October 15 (KNS): A delegation from the All Sikh Minority Employees Association/All Employees Joint Association Kashmir, led by Chairperson Jagmeet Kour Bali, met with Honorable Chief Secretary Shri Atal Dulloo and Principal Secretary of School Education, Shri Suresh Kumar Gupta, at the Civil Secretariat today. The delegation extended a warm welcome to Shri Gupta on his recent appointment as Principal Secretary of Education.

The meeting, which took place at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar, provided an opportunity for the delegation to highlight key concerns faced by government employees working across various departments in Kashmir. Both the Chief Secretary and the Principal Secretary gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that the issues raised would be addressed with urgency.

The delegation brought to the attention of the senior officials several pressing matters, including delays in promotions, pending salaries, and the need for better workplace facilities for minority employees. In response, both Shri Dulloo and Shri Gupta assured the delegation that these concerns would be taken up on priority and that the administration is committed to resolving them in a timely manner. The officials emphasized the government's focus on improving working conditions for all employees and ensuring that minority groups receive the attention and support they deserve.

The delegation expressed optimism following the meeting, stating that the positive response from the officials reflects the administration's dedication to employee welfare. Chairperson Jagmeet Kour Bali thanked the Chief Secretary and the Principal Secretary for their time and understanding, hoping for swift action on the raised issues.
