Srinagar, Jan 11 (KNS): Amid surge in Covid-19 cases, the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Soura Srinagar on Tuesday cancelled the winter vacation of its faculty members.
According to a order, issued by director SKIMS Dr Parvaiz Koul, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS), the faculty members who were in winter vacation have been asked to resume duties immediately without any delay.
"In view of the upsurge of COVID-19 / Omicron cases, the winter vacation-2022 of faculty members of the SKIMS stands cancelled.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIn this regard circular has been issued and all the faculty members have been directed to resume their duties immediately, without any delay," it reads.
Meanwhile, Director SKIMS, Dr Parvaiz A Koul said that the decision has been taken to ensure adequate availability of staff in view of the upsurge in COVID-19 cases. (KNS)
