Srinagar, April 7 (KNS): On the occasion of World Health Day, Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) took a significant step to boost patient care by commissioning advanced medical equipment worth ?50 crore under the leadership of Director SKIMS/EOSG, Prof. M Ashraf Ganie.
The newly installed equipment has been set up in various patient care areas across the hospital, marking a major upgrade in healthcare services. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of treatment and provide high-end medical support to patients.
Speaking to media on the sidelines of the event, Prof. M Ashraf Ganie said the new facilities will greatly benefit patient care at SKIMS. “The addition of modern equipment will support advanced diagnostics and treatment, helping us serve patients more effectively,” he stated.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Prof. Ganie also highlighted that SKIMS is in the process of recruiting staff in various categories to strengthen its human resources, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the hospital.
Principal SKIMS Medical College, Prof. Fazalul Qadir Parray, along with senior faculty members, was present during the commissioning event.
The initiative reflects SKIMS’s ongoing commitment to upgrading healthcare infrastructure and delivering better services to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS)
