Srinagar, Nov 29 (KNS): The Social Welfare Department, in collaboration with ALIMCO Corporation, distributed essential aids and appliances to 80 specially-abled beneficiaries today at the Zeba Aapa Institute for Inclusive Education in Anantnag. The items included motorized tricycles, wheelchairs, hearing aids, smartphones, and smart canes.
The distribution ceremony was graced by Dr. Bashir Veeri, MLA of Bijbehara-Srigufwara constituency, who handed over the aids and appliances to the beneficiaries. The event was attended by the Social Welfare Officer of Anantnag and members of the Zeba Aapa Institute for Inclusive Education.
