Spring Restoration at Mughal Mohalla Completed Under NLCO’s Mission Ehsaas

 Srinagar, Nov 16(KNS): In a significant stride towards environmental conservation, the Nigeen Lake Conservation Organisation (NLCO) has successfully restored Spring 5 at Mughal Mohalla, Rainawari, Srinagar.

This marks the fifth spring restoration in Srinagar and the tenth under the transformative Mission Ehsaas, a community-led initiative applauded by both the Prime Minister and the Lieutenant Governor of J&K.

The restored spring, now ready to serve the local community, offers a sustainable water source in an area grappling with shortages. NLCO’s Chairman, Manzoor Ahmad Wangnoo, emphasized the importance of preserving such natural resources for future generations and called for community ownership to sustain the rejuvenation efforts.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

“This accomplishment highlights the power of collaborative action,” said Mr. Wangnoo. He expressed gratitude to the administration, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), LC&MA, volunteers, and stakeholders for their unwavering support in bringing this vision to life.
