Srinagar to Conduct Civil Defence Drill "Operation Shield" on May 31

Srinagar, May 31(KNS): The District Administration Srinagar will hold the 2nd Civil Defence Exercise, codenamed "Operation Shield," at the Amar Niwas Complex today starting at 5:00 PM.

The drill is part of a district-wide emergency preparedness initiative and will include mock rescue operations and evacuation drills. A blackout drill will also be carried out at 8:00 PM to simulate crisis conditions.

All citizens are requested to cooperate fully, follow official instructions, and stay calm throughout the drill.
