Srinagar, Jan 02 (KNS): Divisional Commissioner Kashmir VK Bidhuri Tuesday said that there is sufficient stock of essentials like petrol, kerosene, LPG and others available in valley and urged people not to create panic by thronging petrol pumps with vehicles and bottles.
Bidhuri's reply came after nation-wide strike by transporters entered into day two. The transporters demand immediate roll back of the order that imposes heavy penalty and imprisonment to a motorist if found involved in hit and run case.
Speaking to media Divisional Commissioner Kashmir as per KNS said that there is no need to go panic as we have sufficient stock available for over three weeks.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"We know transporters have called on three day strike and today is day two. We shouldn't go panic. We have sufficient stocks available in Kashmir Valley. Like petrol, kerosene and LGP the supplies are stocked for over three weeks," Bidhuri as per KNS said.
He urged people to avoid thronging petrol pumps with vehicles and bottles as this leads to chaos in public. (KNS)
