Srinagar, Mar 06 (KNS): Providing much-needed financial relief to bereaved families, J&K Bank has facilitated the swift settlement of MetLoan & Life Suraksha (MLLS) insurance claims for its deceased borrowers across various branches in the Bank’s Delhi Zone. Claims amounting to Rs 39 lakh have been disbursed to ten families, easing their financial distress in difficult times.
In a brief ceremony, the symbolic cheque representing the disbursed amount was jointly displayed by the Bank’s General Manager & Divisional Head (Rest of India) Rajesh Gupta and Associate Director & Head (PNB MetLife) Irfan Ali Zargar in the presence of Bank’s AGM (Cross Selling) Dorjey Angchuk and AGM (Credit Head Delhi) Kreeti Sharma. The event was attended by Branch Heads and Manager Advances of the respective Delhi branches, along with senior officials from both J&K Bank and PNB MetLife, including Regional Manager Peer Jeelani and Senior Territory Manager Taha bin Nazir.

Speaking on the occasion, GM & Divisional Head (ROI) Rajesh Gupta underscored the importance of insuring loans for financial security. “In times of distress, insured loans offer significant relief to families. It is our responsibility to encourage customers to secure their borrowings under MLLS, thereby, ensuring that their loved ones are not left with financial liabilities in unforeseen circumstances,” he said.
