Jammu, March 9 (KNS): Former Cabinet Minister and Apni Party’s Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir, strongly criticized the recently passed budget, stating, “The budget makes no direct mention of critical issues such as rising unemployment and inflation in Jammu and Kashmir. Our youth are disappointed, as it offers no clarity on employment opportunities.” “If the youth are dissatisfied, how can we call it a good budget?,” he asked.
Mir made these remarks today while speaking to reporters after a party event in Vijaypur, Samba district, Jammu. The event was held to mark the party’s foundation anniversary.
Replying to question about recently passed J&K budged, Mir expressed his dissatisfaction. He said, “Ours is an agricultural economy, and the government has raised diesel prices, which means it will affect everything here despite the fact that people are already suffering due to rising inflation.”
“We were expecting significant measures to address unemployment and reduce inflation, but this budget is disappointing,” he added.

The government must fulfil its promise.”
