Srinagar, Aug 02(KNS): Three residents of Anantnag were killed in a vehicle accident in Kupwara district of Northern Kashmir on Friday, officials said here.
They said that the vehicle veered off the road and fell into a gorge on the Tanghdar-Teethwal route near the Sikh bridge.
The deceased have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Khan (41), Feroz Ahmed Pala (45), and Nazir Ahmed Magray (55), all from Seer Hamdan in Anantnag. The police are investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, People’s Conference president Sajad Lone expressed condolence over the accident and said that "Deeply saddened by the tragic road accident in Karnah that claimed the lives of 3 people.
