Baramulla, July 13 (KNS): In a major breakthrough, Kreeri Police have arrested three individuals involved in a major fraud operation targeting unsuspecting residents in the Baramulla area.

The gang allegedly defrauded people by pretending to sell vehicles and promising government jobs in reputable institutions such as banks and government departments.

The individuals arrested are Mudasir Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Ahmad Mir, resident of Thindma, Firdosue Ahmad Mir, also known as Sameer Khan, son of Ab Aziz, resident of Mughalpora Tangmarg, currently residing in Chanpora, Srinagar and Syed Akther, son of Ab Rasheed, resident of Sonlipora Tangmarg.

The accused are currently under police custody as further investigations continue. Additional arrests are expected as the probe unfolds.(KNS)
