Srinagar, July 05 (KNS): Union Ministers Dr. Jitendra Singh, G. Kishan Reddy, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, and Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina, along with other party leaders, attended the BJP's executive meeting in Jammu.
The gathering took place at the Party Headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
News agency KNS reported that in response to media inquiries regarding the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, Chugh reaffirmed the BJP's dedication to democracy, recalling the party's resilience during the emergency period imposed by "Congress". "The BJP is always prepared. We strongly believe in democracy. When the Congress imposed Emergency in the country and MISA was imposed on 1.40 crore people, even then the BJP fought for democracy," Chugh stated.
G. Kishan Reddy expressed his happiness to be among the hardworking and dedicated BJP Karyakartas in Jammu and Kashmir. "I look forward to working together to bloom the lotus in the valley," he said.
Tarun Chugh, re-nominated as the party observer for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party national president JP Nadda.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He pledged to work harder for the party and to promote the prime minister's policies and vision in the region. Chugh highlighted the significant progress and development in Jammu and Kashmir, attributing it to various development and welfare schemes launched by the prime minister.
He emphasized the transformation from terrorism to tourism in the region, noting that the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh see new hope in the BJP.
The previous evening, Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda chaired a meeting with senior J&K BJP leaders at BJP Headquarters in New Delhi.
This meeting was also attended by BJP National General Secretary (Org.) BL Santhosh, Union Minister and Election Incharge for J&K G. Kishan Reddy, National General Secretary & Prabhari J&K Tarun Chugh, and Seh-Prabhari Ashish Sood.(KNS)
