The incident occurred on Monday when the tourist, suffering from severe fever, called for medical assistance at the hotel where he was staying in Gulmarg, northern Kashmir.
Ankit, a 28-year-old tourist, reported that he experienced severe fever and contacted government doctors from PHC Gulmarg for treatment. According to him, a doctor and an ambulance driver arrived at his hotel, Khalil Palace, room 307, and advised him to take a drip, which he agreed to.
However, Ankit claimed that during the treatment, no one was allowed inside the room. After the procedure, he was charged Rs 2000 for a single drip. “I was shocked to learn the charge.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelEven after I protested that the amount was excessive, they didn’t listen.
