Srinagar, Feb 02 (KNS): The Jammu Srinagar National Highway (NHW) has been partially restored, bringing relief to stranded commuters, officials said here on Friday.
Over the last two days, the highway had faced closure due to adverse weather conditions. "Efforts are underway to clear stranded vehicles, and commuters are urged to exercise caution while driving. A portion of the road near Sherbibi has been reduced to a single lane, and several stretches remain slippery," an official told the Kashmir News Service (KNS).Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"Authorities are actively working to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and to address any potential hazards on the road," he said. "Jammu Srinagar NHW partially restored, stranded vehicles are being cleared. Commuters are advised to drive with cautiously, as part of road near Sherbibi is single lane & also slippery at a number of places," the J&K Traffic Police said.(KNS)
