CM Omar Abdullah Condemns attack, termed recent attacks a matter of serious concern

 Srinagar, Oct 24(KNS): Two porters and two army soldiers were killed when terrorists attacked an army vehicle in Botapathri near Nagin post in the Gulmarg area of Baramulla district on Thursday evening, officials said.

An official stated that the incident occurred when terrorists targeted the army vehicle, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers and two civilian porters, with three others sustaining injuries.

The injured have been moved to Gulmarg hospital, where after initial treatment, they were shifted to 92 Base Army Hospital in Srinagar.

Meanwhile, additional reinforcements have been sent to the area, and a large search operation has been launched to neutralise the terrorists.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the terrorist attack on army vehicles in the Boota Pathri area of Gulmarg in North Kashmir.

Abdullah expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack, describing the incident as "very unfortunate.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The Chief Minister also extended his prayers for the swift and complete recovery of those injured in the attack.

"Very unfortunate news about the attack on the army vehicles in the Boota Pathri area of North Kashmir which has resulted in some casualties & injuries," he said in a post on X

He said that this recent spate of attacks in Kashmir is a matter of serious concern. "I condemn this attack is the strongest possible terms & send my condolences to the loved ones of the people who lost their lives. I also pray that injured make a complete & swift recovery," he said.

"Shocked & deeply saddened by the militant attack on an army convoy in Baramulla in which a civilian porter has been killed. Condemn it unequivocally &  pray for the swift recovery of the injured soldiers," PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti said.(KNS).
