Jammu, July 04: Senior BJP leader and former deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Thursday lauded the remarkable strides made by the Narendra Modi government in combating terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart leader said that after the progression of befitting moves against terrorism by the Modi Government the Jammu and Kashmir is on the cusp of transformation with peace becoming its new hallmark.
Reflecting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent statement in the Rajya Sabha, the senior BJP functionary highlighted the effectiveness of the government's policies in bringing an end to violence in the Union Territory.
It is pertinent to mention that Prime Minister Modi has emphasized that the government's multi-pronged strategy has not only curtailed terrorism but is also on the verge of eradicating the remaining vestiges of insurgency.
Echoing the Prime Minister's sentiments, Kavinder underscored the transformative impact of these policies on the ground. “Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi, J&K is witnessing unprecedented progress in eliminating terrorism. The government's unwavering commitment to peace and security is evident in the substantial decline in violence and the restoration of law and order”, he said, adding that the UT has now embarked on the journey towards peace and prosperity.

Meanwhile, Mahant Jwala Soni from Ayodhya along with Narotam Sharma, former Corporator and Mahant Keshav Shukla from Ram Ashram Peer Kho Mandir felicitated Kavinder Gupta by presenting a picture of Bhagwan Ram and Prasad recognizing his outstanding work in the field of social service.
