Srinagar, Oct 24 (KNS): Srinagar police on Thursday reported the discovery of a dead body in the fields of Gangbugh, district Srinagar, after receiving telephonic information. A team from Police Station Batamaloo arrived at the scene and identified the deceased as Mohd Zakir, son of Mohd Jawadullah, a resident of Bengal.

Authorities are questioning family members and associates, including his brother, Mohd Javed, who lived with him in a rented accommodation in Gangbugh.
Technical evidence, such as CCTV footage, is currently being examined. The investigation is ongoing. (KNS)
