Srinagar, Dec 2 (KNS): The Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Kashmir, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, on Monday reaffirmed the authorities' commitment to continuing and intensifying the crackdown on traffic rule violators across the Kashmir.

Speaking to Kashmir News Service, Bukhari stated that any vehicle found in serious violation of traffic regulations would only be released after a court order, signaling a stricter approach to enforcement.

This intensified crackdown follows the recent incident at Tengapora, after which the traffic department, in collaboration with the traffic police, has stepped up efforts to enforce road safety and discipline.

Authorities have urged drivers to follow traffic rules strictly to avoid penalties and ensure the safety of all road users. (KNS)
