Will do our best to get back constitutional guarantees taken on 05 August: Nasir Aslam

 Srinagar, Oct 25 (KNS): Advisor to Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani on Friday said that they will do their best to get back what was snatched on August 05 2019.

Speaking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Nasir said that with the assembly session starting on November 1, discussions about restoring statehood and constitutional rights would take place.

“We will do our best to get back the constitutional guarantees that were taken from us on 5th August 2019,” he said.

He said that the Chief Minister has directed ministers to review departments and make decisions that benefit the people.

Speaking on criticisms from political rivals regarding government actions, Aslam urged them to be patient. “There is a time for opposition, but we should also work together for the good of our people,” he said.

On being asked about the government’s timeline for fulfilling promises made during the election campaign, particularly regarding issues like gas cylinders and electricity bills. Aslam said that the government was formed for five years, and he has full hope that they will fulfill all manifesto promises.

Aslam said that Peace between these two countries directly affects J&K. "People have died for us. We want to live without fear.”(KNS)
