Srinagar, April 24 (KNS): J&K Peoples Conference President Sajad Lone made a resolute pledge today to hold NC leaders accountable for their involvement in the innocent killings, torture, incarceration, proliferation of graveyards in every village since 1987 and the unjust imposition of PSA on Kashmiri populace.
He highlighted the strong ideological alignment between National Conference and BJP, citing historical instances when Omar Abdullah as NDA minister shamelessly defended the killings of Muslims.
"Even when Vajpayee's government rejected NC's proposal for greater autonomy in the 90s, NC leaders unethically chose to succumb to a mere ministerial role. They have long been allies of BJP. Yet now, they callously invoke Islam in Kashmir as a veil to obscure their unforgivable crimes against Kashmiris," he stated.
Lone was adressing a mammoth workers' convention of Kralpora Zone in Trehgam constituency, held in the area of Dard Harie. He expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming love and support of the people.
The esteemed party leaders, including Advocate Bashir Ahmad Dar, Abdul Ahad Kashmiri, Irfan Pandithpuri, Haji Farooq Mir, DDC Masrat, DDC Habibullah Beigh, Shiekh Aslam, Rydham Singh, Tasaduq Yaseen, Mansoor Banday, Rahil Dar, Rafie Lone among others graced the event with their presence.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that persistent massive gatherings mark a crucial juncture in the history of J&K, as the resilient majority rises, steadfast in their demand for the restoration of dignity and rights.
"The resounding message is crystal clear: Peoples Conference is not only here to endure but to triumph, amplifying the voice of the common man in the halls of Parliament."
Lone proclaimed that North Kashmir has resolved not to allow "Tourists" to determine the destiny of their future or that of their children any longer.
"Those who failed to advocate for our rights for over 28 years in Parliament are undeserving of even contesting candidates from Baramulla Parliamentary constituency. NC has consistently prioritized self-interest over the pressing issues of livelihood, sustenance, and development that have left the people suffering for decades”, he concluded.(KNS)
