Uri, Nov 23 (KNS): Senior Prosecuting Officer, Yasir Arafat, (JKPS) has been transferred and posted to the Court of Sub-Judge Uri in Baramulla district, in accordance with the Home Department Order No. 526 dated October 28, 2024.
Arafat assumed his duties as Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) in the court today.
Upon his arrival, Arafat was warmly welcomed by the staff of the AAP and prosecution team. He also took the opportunity to meet with the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Uri and other key officers.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
During the meeting, they discussed strategies for the efficient and timely disposal of criminal cases within the Sub-Division of Uri.
Arafat’s appointment is expected to bolster the judicial proceedings in the border town, ensuring better management of criminal cases under his new role. (KNS)
