Bandipora, 08 July (KNS): An 18-year-old youth drowned in the Madhumati Nallah in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.

As per the reports, the youth drowned while bathing in the Madhumati Nallah in the Sonerwani area of Bandipora. Locals attempted to rescue him, but it took time to retrieve his body.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He was taken to the nearby Bandipora hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The deceased has been identified as Owais Ahmad, son of Manzoor Ahmad Khan of Sonerwani, Bandipora.(KNS)
