Srinagar, 15 June (KNS): Youth President of Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference, Mudasir Karim, extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer, commemorating the historic event of Ghadir Khumm where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) declared:
“???? ?????? ????????? ????????? ?????????”
“Man kuntu mawla fa hadha ‘Aliyyun mawla” — “Whoever I am his master, Ali is his master.”
This declaration, Mudasir said, was not merely an appointment but a divine command of leadership, highlighting the unmatched courage, knowledge, and spiritual authority of Imam Ali (AS). He said Eid al-Ghadeer is not only a celebration for Shia Muslims but a reminder to the entire Ummah of the values of justice, unity, and rightful leadership in Islam.
Speaking on the current situation in the Muslim world, Mudasir strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression and destabilisation efforts across the Muslim countries, particularly the atrocities in Palestine and the recent escalations affecting Iran. “Israel continues to act with impunity, causing chaos and suffering from Gaza to the Gulf, and the silence of the international community is deeply painful,” he said.
He offered special prayers for the people of Iran and Palestine, urging Muslims across the world to unite as one body and to stand firm against oppression and injustice.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“Today, more than ever, we must set aside sectarianism and differences, and stand together as one Ummah. Our strength lies in our unity,” he emphasized.
Mudasir also expressed deep sorrow over the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad, offering heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. “We stand with them in this hour of grief. May the departed souls rest in peace and their families find strength,” he said.
He further urged the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, to immediately intervene and facilitate the safe return of Indian citizens stuck in Iran, including several Kashmiri students who have raised distress calls. “I request the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of J&K and the Chief Minister of Jammu And Kashmir to coordinate with MEA to ensure no Indian, especially our youth, is left behind or abandoned in these challenging times,” he added.
In his concluding remarks, Mudasir Karim prayed for peace, unity, and stability in the Muslim world, and hoped for a future where justice and humanity triumph over tyranny and division.
“May the light of Imam Ali’s leadership guide us towards justice and courage. Eid-e-Ghadeer Mubarak to all.”(KNS)
