Youth JKPC President Mudasir Karim Raises Concerns Over SARFAESI Act's Impact on J&K Youth

Srinagar, October(KNS): Mudasir Karim, President of Youth J&K Peoples Conference, has sounded the alarm on the devastating consequences of the SARFAESI Act on the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

In a tweet, Karim expressed his distress over the daily publication of possession notices in local newspapers, which has led to the shaming of family members and guarantors ¹.

"The constant shaming of families and guarantors is heartbreaking," Karim stated. "It's crucial that business unions across markets come together to find a solution. No one is immune to this issue; today it's someone else, tomorrow it could be you.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"

Karim emphasized the need for government intervention to address this pressing problem. "The fear of facing such notices is deterring our youth from pursuing entrepreneurship," he noted. "We need a supportive environment that encourages innovation, not one that discourages it due to the dread of SARFAESI's consequences."

The Youth J&K Peoples Conference urges the government to take concrete steps towards resolving this issue and creating a conducive environment for entrepreneurship to thrive in Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS).
