Youth JKPC President Mudasir Karim Raises Voice on Dilapidated Bridges in Dal Lake

Srinagar, May 31(KNS): Youth JKPC President Mudasir Karim has expressed deep concern over the deplorable state of infrastructure in the interiors of Dal Lake, particularly focusing on the dilapidated condition of wooden bridges vital for the residents of Kand Mohalla and other areas.

In a recent tweet, Mudasir Karim highlighted the dire situation faced by the residents who rely on these crumbling bridges for daily commutes. "Nestled in the interiors of #DalLake, residents of Kand Mohalla decry the pathetic condition of their only bridge to the outside. School children & sick patients rely on many such dilapidated bridges in Dal, yet @OfficeOfLGJandK, JKLCMA & SMC keep passing the blame. JKLCMA refuses urgent repairs while allowing selective constructions in this belt. This isn't isolated—many wooden bridges in Dal need repair. The poor are constantly pushed to the wall. With Muharram a month away, it’s the same old story of broken promises," Karim tweeted.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The President emphasized that the issue is not just limited to Kand Mohalla but is a widespread problem affecting many areas within Dal Lake. He criticized the authorities for their lack of action and failure to address the urgent repair needs, while selectively permitting other constructions.

Karim's remarks come as a stark reminder of the ongoing neglect faced by the underprivileged communities in Dal Lake. With Muharram just a month away, there is an urgent need for immediate attention and action from the concerned authorities to fulfill their promises and alleviate the hardships of the residents.

Karim calls upon @DivComKash, @srinagaradmin, @DrBilalbhatIAS, and @beingBbhat to take swift action and ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out without further delay. The wellbeing of school children, sick patients, and the entire community depends on these critical infrastructure improvements.(KNS)
