KARNAH, Feb 22(KNS): Seventeen people including four patients were airlifted from snow-bound Karnah area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Thursday, officials said.

 

The swift and coordinated efforts of the administration during this emergency situation have been commended by the local community. 

 

The locals express gratitude to the administration for their assistance. Despite facing significant challenges due to heavy snowfall over the past five days, including the closure of the Sadhana Pass and increased complexity in snow clearing efforts at Sadhana Top, the administration remains committed to reopening the highway for vehicular traffic once weather conditions permit.(KNS).
