"Reviewing matters regarding commemoration of Hafta-e-Shahadat as was the practice till 2019, members said that due to the continuous detention of Umar Farooq and restrictions put in place by authorities on all kinds of political, socio political or even socio religious initiatives, it is unlikely that commemorative functions will be allowed like before."(KNS).
