Jammu, June 23 (KNS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said that Abdullah, Mufti and Gandhi families were responsible for bloodshed during their tenures in Jammu and Kashmir and that they were responsible for killing 42000 people in the Union Territory.

Addressing a massive convocation at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu, Shah as per KNS said three families – Abdullah’s, Mufti’s and Gandhi’s have ruled J&K for a long time but unfortunately they all failed to develop the Union Territory. In their times, 42000 people got killed in terrorist activities. I want to ask Abdullah and Mufti families who is responsible for these killings.

Shah while giving credit to Modi government said, “It was Modi’s regime which collapsed the network of terrorism in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and reined their supporters, sympathizers and handlers”.

While paying tribute to the BJP ideologue, Dr. Shama Prasad Mukherji on his death anniversary, Shah said “Today on June 23 we are observing death anniversary of Late Mukherji who has immense contribution in keeping the country united and integrated. “If J&K is united with Union of India today it is because of Dr. Shama Prasad Mukherji. J&K is fully merged with India due to abrogation of Article 370 and there is immense sacrifice and determination of our ideologue behind”.

“Dr. Shama Prasad Mukherji resigned in 1953 as a Minister of Commerce when Article 370 was introduced. He resisted and opposed. He was against Do Vidhan, Do Pradhan aur Do Nishan theory in the country. He was arrested and not allowed to enter J&K. We all know he was murdered in a well thought out conspiracy. But today his soul will be in peace as Narendra Modi government has abrogated Article 370 and paved way to J&K to become indisputable part of India,” the Union Minister Amit Shah flamboyantly said.

He added that Dr. Shama Prasad Mukherji and Pandit Prem Nath Dogra rendered great services to the nation and ensured the dream of nation come true. “The nation is indebted to their sacrifices,” Shah added.

He said since Narendra Modi came into power he unearthed 12,00,000 crore scams in 9 years and nailed the elements involved in corruption. He said that PM Modi provided several facilities to poor sections of the society who were deprived from availing their due rights in last 70 years. He added that multi-crore projects were inaugurated today in Jammu city.

BJP government has tightened noose on terrorism in J&K. “Today terrorism is on the death bed. In UPAs ten year rule there were 60327 terror incidents reported while as in Modi’s 9 years of rule terrorism touched its lowest ebb. Since Article 370 was abrogated there were only 32 calls of strikes while stone pelting incidents declined by 90 percent.

Speaking over tourist footfall post-abrogation of Article 370 in J&K, Shah said for the first time in 2022, 1.88 crore tourists visited Jammu and Kashmir.

During his address, Shah sought support for Modi from people of Jammu and Kashmir for 2024 parliamentary elections. “There is no match in between Rahul Baba and Modi Ji. The BJP will win over 300 seats in 2024 polls,” he asserted.

Shah termed the conduct of G20 summit in Srinagar a “grand success”. “The G20 summit was an eye opener to the world. This was the first time when foreign countries took part in the event held in Kashmir. The foreign representatives have gone back to their respective countries with the message of peaceful Kashmir,” he said and complemented Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for the smooth conduct of the G20 summit in Srinagar.
