Srinagar, Sep 20 (KNS): Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari on Wednesday said that his doors are always open for Hurriyat, Jamaat-e-Islami and others provided they accept the Constitution of India.

Talking to media persons in Pulwama, Bukharir, as per Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that anybody, who is not involved in terrorism activities, not doing communal politics and not involved in drug mafia, can join his party. 

On being asked about being in touch with Jamaat-e-Islami, he said that being a native of Jammu and Kashmir, he is in touch with all the people here.

On assembly elections in J&K, Bukhari said that democracy is the biggest need of this country and it is the strength of the nation.

"Democracy comes from the people who choose an elected government. It is the base of this country. Destiny of people of J&K lies with New Delhi," he said. (KNS)
