Srinagar, Dec 22(KNS): The residents of Beerwah in Central Kashmir's Budgam district on Friday urged the swift reinstatement of the State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) bus service from Jahangir Chowk to Beerwah.
The demand arises as the once-initiated bus service on this route has mysteriously ceased operations, leaving commuters in a lurch. "Despite the initial relief when the service was introduced, locals were disheartened when the buses suddenly stopped plying the route," the locals said.
The abrupt discontinuation has left many residents Including Students and Employees to face transportation challenge as they can not reach their colleges and Offices on time now they are demanding earlier resumption of this crucial service.
On Resident Ab Hamid Said, “Now we are waiting for a response from the concerned authorities and hope SRTC bus service will start soon on our route so that we can not suffer in future.”(KNS)
